Cover Up Tattoos

Covering Up Tattoos or scars

I do and will always offer cover up work, especially to clients with offensive tattoos or self harm scarring. I do ask to see the tattoo or area I will be covering up beforehand, and ask that you are willing to work with me on coming up with a plan for fading out the old piece and welcoming in the new. As the fresh tattoo heals, we’ll keep an eye for any touch ups needed throughout the process to make sure you’re happy with a clean, crisp tattoo that will help you on your journey of becoming more confident in your skin.

The Process

Covering up anything, whether medical, self harm, or just scars we gather through life, or tattoos we no longer need to carry with us, working with scar tissue and injured skin is a process. The area is usually much more sensitive, harder to work with, and takes much more care and attention to detail to insure you walk away with a piece you won’t ever feel the need to get worked on again. Tattooing has come full circle with our generation, and many of us have pieces of art that no longer represent how we feel, and even if you’ve been told it is impossible by other artists, I will gladly consult with you to see what we can do.
